CRIB | RUG | NOAH THE DOG | MIRROR | BUNNY CANVAS | DRESSER | PILLOW | GLIDER
I’m pretty sure the most home questions I’ve gotten have been about the nursery and how I’m decorating it! Although there’s no exact theme, I decided to keep it classic with the traditional white crib while incorporating blue and neutral tones! I work best with a vision board, and this is what I’ve come up with so far. Right now, the only pieces in the nursery are the crib and rug because I’m still waiting for things to ship! Go figure. Lol! I’m shooting to have everything completed in the next few weeks in case baby B decides to arrive early. Less than two months left! 🙂
I know I’ve somewhat mentioned it before, but I truly miss the days when a fashion blogger was an actual fashion blogger and not just a social media influencer! Typing the word influencer still makes me cringe because the stigma behind it is never what I aspired to be. I started blogging because I LOVED (and still love) styling fun outfits, and I wanted a place where they could permanently live! It always made me sad if I never took a photo in a look that I enjoyed creating, so that’s ultimately how Sassy Southern Blonde was born! If you want the full details, I’ll link that blog post HERE 🙂
Now back to the actual purpose of today’s blog! Lol. I realized that I hadn’t shared an outfit post in MONTHS, and this gingham print mini dress deserved some extra attention! It was originally ordered for 30A, but UPS couldn’t find my new address for two weeks. Thankfully, it finally arrived but after I was already back from my trip. And I’m actually heading back to the beach with Bo for my birthday this weekend, so the gingham mini will for sure be in my suitcase then! This will most likely be our last getaway before baby B arrives in June. I told Bo it will also probably be the last time we can peacefully relax on the beach, but he said it would be more fun with kids anyways! I appreciated the optimism and hope to have the same attitude one day! Hahah.
As far as sizing goes, the dress does run short! I’m 5’2 wearing the XS/SM and I was pushing it. I think it will be perfect post-baby, but I did want to warn y’all on that! I think the website has it listed as a coverup, so that’s an option as well. I just adored the bright colors and gingham print, though. This mini dress would make the perfect vacation outfit, especially if you’re going somewhere tropical! Drop a comment or shoot me a DM for any other questions. Have a wonderful week!
I’m not even going to pretend like I can accurately recommend these baby products at the moment, but that doesn’t mean I’m not excited to try them out! I really only have one best friend that’s a mom, so I took her advice very seriously when planning my registry! Lol. Shoutout to Allie girl! I also read reviews and did some light research before deciding on the big ticket items. I hope they all live up to the hype! I promise I will share a detailed review after June, though. If you’d like a better idea of what to add to your registry, I’ll link both of mine here! (Amazon and Buy Buy Baby) I tried not to add too many unnecessary things! At the end of the day, it’s better to be over prepared than under prepared and every baby is different. One product might work great for your friend’s baby, and your baby hates it! You just never know! 🙂
