To me, overall dresses are one of the cutest trends for spring (next to gingham print of course) because you can style them various ways! Sweet, edgy, or a combination of the two, each look is different than the next. It also makes my 90s baby heart SO happy because I definitely rocked them hardcore as a child! I had actually been eyeing this $25 overall dress for months, but wasn’t sure how it would look on me! Main thought- “Hmm maybe they were better suited for my elementary days?!” Lol! Well, I finally gave in and purchased after trying on in store!
These are from Forever 21 (This link is the F21 page on my blog) and I *LOVE* this store because you can buy the trendiest pieces for an amazing price! (Plus, the quality of their merchandise has greatly improved lately) Some things are meant to be an investment because you’ll wear them for years to come (like a Louis Vuitton bag or Gucci belt), but my denim overall dress is probably just a trend for 2018 (like palazzo pants or velour tracksuits in the 2000s). That’s why it’s important to know the difference between classics and fads to make the most of your money!
