The Cutest Tees with Grace Layne

December 6, 2018

The older I get, the more I love a cute tee. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy dressing up (I mean it’s kind of my job lol), but I’d rather throw on a graphic tee and joggers during the week! When I discovered Grace Layne, I knew I needed some of their cute graphic tees. My favorite two are the #BLONDE tee (for obvious reasons) and the Girl Gang tee. If you aren’t blonde, no worries! They also have brunette and ginger options too. And I can’t forget to mention how soft the Girl Gang tee is! Plus, the sleeves are ribbed, which just adds to the appeal. I styled both with my favorite pair of leopard joggers and wedge sneakers! Like I said, all about the casual cute outfits! Shop more from Grace Layne HERE!

I still can’t believe that it’s already December. This year has flown by! I absolutely love Christmas, but I wish I had more time to enjoy it. I stay so busy during the holidays, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Stay tuned for more fun blog posts next week including a NYC travel guide! Let me know if you have any questions about my Grace Layne tees too! (I’m wearing a M in both)

XOXO

I’m so excited to be recapping my recent trip to Gatlinburg on the blog today! I flew into Charlotte Thursday morning, and my online bestie Andrea became my real life bestie! 🙂 We ran around town trying to be “A+ bloggers” as Andrea likes to say and had the best time! Friday morning, Tanner joined us and we headed to Gatlinburg to meet up with Bailey! Of course, the weather was horrible, so we decided to wait until Saturday morning to go! (But not after driving an hour into the trip LOL) We spent Friday afternoon in Charlotte just talking and sitting on Andrea’s floor for hours. Even though the beginning of the trip was a disaster, we definitely built friendships that meant way more in the end!

Saturday morning at 5 am came VERY early, but we got on the road and high tailed it to Gatlinburg! Once we arrived, we immediately checked into the cutest hotel, Margaritaville Resort! If you’ve ever been to one or a Margaritaville restaurant, you know the theme is very tropical with lots of bright colors. My favorite part was the Margarita maker in our room! I thought it was the perfect touch 😉 The entire staff was so kind and accommodating, though! I highly recommend booking your next stay here if you go to Gatlinburg or any of their resorts across the U.S. I also loved that this location was on Gatlinburg’s main street, so you could walk to everything! (Which is nice when the traffic is crazy! Haha)

After we dropped our suitcases AND Andrea off (she needed a nap), the rest of the gang headed to The Apple Barn for fried apple fritters and hot apple cider! I remember going there every time my family vacationed in the mountains, and I couldn’t leave without homemade apple butter! It was just as amazing as when I went 10 years ago! We also visited Anakeesta Theme Park, which was right across from our hotel. You ride the rail up the mountains and it’s absolutely GORG! We did get stuck at the top for a bit, but the warm heaters and good company made it just fine!

Although our trip didn’t totally go as planned, I still had such a great time with these girls! (Yall should check out their blogs that I tagged above!) I mean, we are already planning trips for 2019 if that says anything! Stay tuned for more details there. Catching flights, not feelings is my motto for 2019! Hahaha OKAY, I’m done after that. Thanks for reading and thanks to Margaritaville Resort Gatlinburg for hosting us!

XOXO

Cute + Easy Thanksgiving Outfit Inspiration

November 6, 2018

Thanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoThanksgiving Outfit InspoAlthough a pink Christmas tree is currently en route to my house, I haven’t totally forgotten about Thanksgiving! Specifically, Thanksgiving Day outfits. You know, what you wear for sitting in the living room! LOL! (That was a reference to this meme that went around a couple weeks and spoke some serious truth!) I do feel bad when people overlook the holiday (myself included) because it really is so important. It’s a great time to reflect on the blessings in your life surrounded by people you love!

After a few fashion mishaps over the years, I think I have finally figured out the cutest (and safest) Thanksgiving outfit. It’s pretty simple actually- flowy sweater, jeans with some stretch, and your favorite knee-high boots! A flowy sweater to hid the inevitable food baby, jeans with some stretch so you can breathe (duh), and your favorite boots so you still look put together! (I mean we all know how grandmothers judge when ya look rough) If you aren’t sold on my exact look, I’m going to link some other options below to help you create the perfect Thanksgiving ensemble! I added a floppy hat and Gucci belt to accessorize. BTW- my sweater is only $22 and selling out quick! 🙂

5 Fall Activities You Need To Do NOW :)

October 25, 2018

Confetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysConfetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysConfetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysConfetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysConfetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysConfetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysConfetti Sweater + Hot Pink CorduroysI have been waiting to take photos at the fair since it came to town LAST October. Lol! So, of course, the day I went it was super cloudy and raining! Which is why my hair looks a *little* frizzy. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches, especially when the weather won’t cooperate! But I am absolutely obsessed with this outfit. I have been saving it for over a month! (Sorry the exact pants are sold out, but they do come in other colors!) I knew the hot pink would be perfect for fair pictures, though. I’m trying really hard to wear more neutrals, but it’s HARD! (Keyword *trying*)

Fall is such a fun time of the year, so I thought I’d share my favorite (cheesy) fall activities in case you need some help thinking up ideas!

Go to the FAIR 🙂

This was an obvious choice, but my absolute favorite nonetheless. There’s nothing better than corn dogs and fried Oreos! (I skip the rides these days because I eat too much)

Visit the Pumpkin Patch

Gosh, I LOVE the pumpkin patch. Maybe it’s because I’m a blogger, but it definitely gets you in the Fall spirit!

Bake Some Fall Treats

Whether it’s homemade pumpkin bread or Pillsbury Halloween sugar cookies, baking is always best in the Fall. I love when my house smells like whatever I cooked!

Carve Pumpkins

This is a pretty classic suggestion, but it’s still a good time! I found out pretty quickly that painting pumpkins are way easier than actually carving them, so I stick to that! Lol.

Watch a Scary Movie

IF you’re brave enough… I am such a chicken when it comes to scary movies. The only time I want to watch one is around October. Like I’m dying to see Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis and I don’t know why! Haha

Hope yall enjoyed these fun ideas! Have a fabulous weekend! 🙂

XOXO
