If you saw my Instagram last week, you probably noticed that I was in Palm Springs, California with Pink Possum Boutique! We planned everything a week before we flew out, and it’s true that the best trips are the sporadic ones! 🙂 Kristin and I flew into LAX Friday night, and then we all hopped in the car to head to Palm Springs. Not without stopping at In-N-Out first, though! Did you really go to the West Coast if you didn’t eat there at some point? Lol.
We shot spring looks for Pink Possum Saturday morning, and we had lunch at a precious restaurant, The Pink Cabana! It’s located inside the Sands Hotel. The entire place is beautiful and very Instagrammable! 🙂 Taking photos and changing clothes is more exhausting than you think, so we got pizza delivered Saturday night. Haha! Sunday was probably my favorite day because we took pictures at The Saguaro aka the rainbow hotel and had brunch at Norma’s inside the Parker Hotel. (If you watch Mad Men, this is where Don Draper stayed when he flew out to California in season 2) We finished shooting the last of the spring pieces that afternoon, and then headed back to LA for our flights on Monday morning!

I thought I’d do something a little different in today’s post and share my favorite Netflix shows for everyone! I’ve binge-watched quite a few random series, and most of them turned out to be great. I did a similar blog 
I have been waiting to take photos at the fair since it came to town LAST October. Lol! So, of course, the day I went it was super cloudy and raining! Which is why my hair looks a *little* frizzy. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches, especially when the weather won’t cooperate! But I am absolutely obsessed with this outfit. I have been saving it for over a month! (Sorry the exact pants are sold out, but they do come in other colors!) I knew the hot pink would be perfect for fair pictures, though. I’m trying really hard to wear more neutrals, but it’s HARD! (Keyword *trying*)

Our first stop on the Visit Jackson tour was Cathead Distillery. This is where Cathead Vodka was founded and is made every day! We were able to view the entire facility and learn more about this booming Mississippi business!
My favorite part of the tour was definitely the Vodka tasting! 😉 I am a wimp when it comes to shots, but the honeysuckle flavor was amazing. I could actually drink it straight! (But just a taste! lol) The other two were great but definitely needed a mixer.
Our next spot was The Apothecary, which is like a speakeasy in the back of Brent’s Drugs! (Brent’s is an adorable, old-school diner that was featured in The Help) We had Happy Hour drinks and a delicious hummus snack. The atmosphere is SO neat, and I definitely recommend if you guys are ever in the area! (Order the Duling Daiquiri pictured above too!)
We finished the fun afternoon with every appetizer on the menu at Barrelhouse! I loved this idea because we were able to try everything from Brisket Sliders to Tuna Pokè Nachos! We also got the Blondie Skillet Cookie for dessert, oh so good! (Photo creds to Laurel from 
The best part was meeting all of these lovely ladies, though! I had been following them for months but hadn’t gotten the chance to meet some of the girls in real life. Everyone was so kind! (And super stylish too! haha)
