HOW TO STYLE A CARDIGAN + WORD OF 2020
CARDIGAN | JEANS | BOOTIES | PURSE | NECKLACE
Since I never chose a word for 2019 and regretted it, I decided to not make the same mistake twice! I thought long and hard about my word for 2020, and what I want to focus on. There were others that I loved (intentional, patience, travel, connect), but peace is what I kept circling back to! Why peace? For me, this word goes hand in hand with my faith. I previously mentioned (HERE) that I saw this quote about praying anytime you start worrying because you’re choosing positivity over negativity!
Y’all don’t see it as much, but I am the queen of worrying! Even my close friends probably don’t notice, but it all goes back to how much I care and invest in the people I love. If someone is struggling, I’m going to do everything I can to help! I’m pretty unstoppable! And a select few can attest to this. Lol!
In 2020, I want to find peace in every situation that troubles or worries me! I feel like discovering a word that you can grow with and actually implement is important. That’s why I went with peace over the others! Peace is something I’m striving for in both my personal and professional life this year. I’ve already felt God bring me peace in situations, and I only pray it continues! Trusting God’s perfect timing in my life and knowing everything will fall into place exactly how it’s supposed to truly comforts me and provides major peace at the end of the day! 🙂
On a lighter note, this cropped cardigan and boyfriend jeans have ended up being one of my favorite outfits! I really didn’t think I could pull the look off because it’s more edgy than my usual style. Cardigans as tops are a HUGE trend for Spring, and I’m loving it!

Happy New Year’s Eve 🙂
Do yall have any fun plans tonight? I am currently in Nashville with my best friends! This is the 3rd year in a row we have done NYE here, and it never disappoints. We end up spending WAY too much money between shopping and Broadway but always worth it! Haha.
My striped cardigan, leopard poncho, and black jeans are from Bella Ella Boutique, and I’m pretty obsessed! Bella Ella is an adorable online boutique I recently discovered, and I knew yall would love them too. Anywho, I am all about colorful stripes (shocking, right? Lol) so this cardigan is a must-have. It’ll transition so well into the spring! And what do I love equally as much as bright colors? Probably, (most definitely) leopard print! I styled the outfit with this poncho for a different look. Both are paired with the cutest high-waisted black jeans that have a front bow! A huge selling point for me! (They fit TTS, I am wearing a 3) Everything is linked below! Drop a comment if you have any questions 🙂
PS: Don’t forget to check out Bella Ella’s new arrivals including some fabulous sweaters!!

MUST-HAVE SPRING CARDIGAN
CARDIGAN: ASOS | TANK: ASOS | JEANS: Levi’s | BOOTIES: Chinese Laundry | NECKLACE: Anthropologie
Happy Monday!
A ton of people messaged me about this cardigan after I shared it on my Instastory, so I knew I needed to do a post with pictures in better lighting than my room! 🙂 This is hands down THE cutest cardigan I have ever owned. The colors alone are a huge selling point for me, but the oversized fit and $48 dollar price tag doesn’t hurt either! I waited for weeks for it to come back in stock, so I would purchase this ASAP if you need a good transitional cardi for Spring! (All sizes are fully stocked as of right now, but it will not be for long!) I also love that you can dress it up or down depending on what you’re doing. I also wore it with THESE leather leggings and my comfy Ugg boots to the movies Friday night! (It doubles as a nice blanket too since the theater is always freezing! lol)
I am flying to Dallas for market next Monday through Friday, so I am trying to get everything done for the blog this week! If you’ve been around here for long, you probably know I have been working apparel markets with Karlie Clothes for over three years now! I have officially lost count of how many I’ve been to. haha! I usually go to Atlanta, but I occasionally fly to the Dallas market also. This time I am working both, so bear with me these next few weeks! As always, thank you for your amazing support and encouragement 🙂
