Fall 2018 Trends: Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Since making its debut this Spring, I have become rainbow obsessed! (Specifically the stripes, I cannot get enough!) So of course I was thrilled when all the rainbow sweaters started popping into the new arrivals section! Honestly, even if it wasn’t on trend for Fall, I’d 100% still be wearing it. I LOVE fun colors, and nothing makes me happier than rainbow print!

Funny story: Do you guys remember those long, skinny popsicles? (90s kid alert) When I was little, I would eat every color because I thought it would turn me rainbow colored… I was devastated when my mom told me that it didn’t work like that! I’m honestly laughing as I type this. Gosh, the imagination of a kid!

When I found this sweater on one of my favorite retailers’ site, I died. Okay, maybe that’s a tad dramatic, but I knew I HAD to buy! I had been eyeing the Wildfox version with a hefty price tag of $124, and I’m SO happy I never took the plunge. I swear this sweater is cuter AND ONLY $23. It’s worth every penny!

My favorite outfit to wear in the fall is a lightweight sweater and cutoff shorts. So this look will be on repeat! I am linking all my favorite rainbow sweaters below (plus a rainbow beauty blender lol). I’d act quickly because this sweater is almost sold out! Can’t say I didn’t warn you 🙂

The Best Graphic Tees To Keep You On Trend

Since I graduated college in December, I have quickly realized that oversized t-shirts and Nike shorts aren’t always the best option for casual wear! Sure, the comfort level is amazing, but sometimes, you just have to move on.

So what is the next best thing?! Definitely graphic tees! I was hesitant about them at first, but I LOVE these tops now. They’re fun, the perfect description for “casual cute”, AND easy to dress up with pumps or down with sneakers! I styled this graphic tee with my favorite pair of jeans and the best tan heels for an easy, yet chic look. (And seriously, you need these heels in your life. They have scallops after all!) I also created a low knot, so the top wouldn’t look baggy. I think that small touch adds a lot to the overall outfit!

My graphic tee is actually from last summer, and similar ones are linked below! I like to be realistic and wearing a piece of clothing once just isn’t. But I always make sure I can find something almost identical to the product!

I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July! I have been on vacation at the beach all week, and it’s been SO nice to take a little break. (Although I still had work to do, but that’s okay!) I didn’t want to leave, but a long to-do list was calling my name 🙂

The best dresses are cute AND comfy, so I’m rounding up my favorites today! Almost all are under $50 including the one I’m wearing! (It’s 40% off with code NEWNOW) I loveee t-shirt dresses because they are super versatile and easy to style. I paired this particular one with a denim jacket, my favorite summer hat, and sneakers! If I was going back to Italy this summer, this is the first outfit I’d pack! All are linked in the carousel below!

PS: I’m SO sorry this is the only post for the week. I have been crazy busy! (Yet I feel like I haven’t accomplished anything on my mile long to-do list… Lol!) I’m trying to finish my work because I am flying to Washington DC on Friday morning! At least I have something fun to look forward to 🙂

Denim Shirt + Leopard Jeans

Finally Friday!

Even though I am on Fall Break from school, I have been super busy working with local boutiques and creating new content for Sassy Southern Blonde! I feel like I have been going nonstop since I got home, BUT I am so excited for all the great opportunities I’ve been blessed with. Not to mention the growth my blog has received lately! So to all of you following along, THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart, the positive feedback and constant support have been so appreciative, and I could never repay you guys! LOVE YALL 🙂

So these jeans.. A M A Z I N G. When I found them in the Gap Labor Day sale, I knew I couldn’t pass up these sassy pants! I was hesitant at first, but they look perfect paired with a chambray or basic top for a casual fall look. When buying bold prints, it’s always best to balance out the outfit with a simple piece, so you don’t overdo it! This is a tip I learned pretty quickly, and it applies to basically everything! Oh and BTW, my leopard jeans are on SALE right now, so there’s no excuse not to buy. Lol!
