DRESS | HEELS | BAG | EARRINGS

Let me just say, I had zero faith that this dress would actually look as good on me (5’2 over here) as it did a 5’8 girl like the reviews said! But I’m always one to put too much trust in strangers’ reviews online, and I’m so happy I did! (At least this time lol) I had been eyeing this lace dress since last summer, but could never bring myself to buy. When the lavender one sold out in my size, I knew I had to act quickly with the blue version! Also, I have to mention that this dress is legit Cinderella blue and it’s definitely my favorite option of the 8 colors. (Yes, there are seriously 8!!) I should have shared it sooner because it’s such a pretty dress for Easter. (Nordstrom does have two-day shipping, so it could still work!) Luckily, wedding season is almost in full swing which means you’ll have lots of opportunities to wear it then! *Make sure you size up because the dress does run small. I went with a medium, and it fits great with a little room to spare*

So I had planned to do a cool recap with pretty pictures of the food I ate/places I visited in Charleston, but like I said in my previous post, I suck at taking food photos. Hey, nobody’s perfect! I am going to share which restaurants we ate at and the things we did though. Spoiler alert: We did not eat at one bad place! Everything was beyond amazing 🙂

RESTAURANTS

Home Team BBQ on Sullivan’s Island: We stayed in a nice Airbnb house on the Isle of Palms, so this place was only a 10-minute drive. I am a HUGE fan of Southern Charm on Bravo, and Shep has raved about it on there! (He’s one of the cast members) I absolutely loved it. My friends and I split the loaded BBQ nachos and then I ordered the shrimp tacos!

Toast: This was my favorite brunch spot! I don’t know what I liked more, the french toast or the Bloody Mary?! Both were delicious and everyone enjoyed the meal they got too. Toast also has these breakfast sandwiches served on fluffy biscuits that I stole a bit of from my friend. SO yummy!

Taco Boy: This was such a cool restaurant! They had the cutest tables set up outside with colored lights, but it was too cold that night. We all split the salsa, queso, and guac for an appetizer! I ordered an avocado taco and a grilled chicken taco. To my surprise, the avocado taco was SO much better than the chicken one. It had a sweet glaze inside that made it perfect!

Circe’s Grotto: I like visiting local restaurants when I travel, so my friend Karly and I went here. She ate at this place a lot when she lived in Charleston for a month one summer, so it was a must! Lol. She’s obsessed with the turkey avocado sandwich, and I loved the Cuban panini! We both sipped on the best mango tea!

Fleet Landing: After we did a boat tour of the Charleston Harbor, we decided to go to Fleet Landing because it was close, and it had five stars on Yelp. Haha! It did not disappoint, though. I ordered the crab cakes with pimento and cheese grits. Oh my gosh, SO GOOD!

Sweetwater Cafe: Our final stop was Sweetwater Cafe for brunch before we headed to the airport! They had great coffee and even better chocolate chip pancakes. Their lunch menu also looked good, but I just can’t ever say no to brunch!

**I also wanted to go to The Darling Oyster Bar because I had heard amazing things, but we never made it. Maybe next time! :)**
